Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
- RenewPage is a service for businesses only, not for personal consumers.
- Your 3 design previews are free. You pay nothing unless you choose one.
- After payment you receive the website files. From then on, using and publishing them is entirely your responsibility.
- All payments are final. The only refund: if you have not received your files within 7 days after payment.
1. Who we are
RenewPage is a website redesign service operated by Smail (스매일), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (owner: Kim Sangho, business registration no. 673-30-01804), located in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. Contact: hello@renewpage.com. In these terms, "we" means RenewPage and "you" means the business that uses our service.
2. Business customers only
Our service is offered only to businesses and organizations, for business purposes. By ordering, you confirm that you are acting for a business and not as a consumer, and that you are authorized to accept these terms for that business.
3. What we do
We redesign existing websites of small businesses. We study your current website and send you three different design previews (images and a short scroll video). If you choose one and pay, we deliver the new website as files: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images, with a simple upload guide.
The service does not include: uploading the files to your server, web hosting, domain names, email accounts, ongoing maintenance, online shops or payment systems, features that need a server or database (for example booking systems or forms that store data), search engine rankings, or converting sites built on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or similar platforms.
4. Free previews
Previews are free and you have no obligation to buy. Until you pay, the preview designs remain our work: please do not copy or build them yourself or through someone else.
5. Ordering and payment
- You reply to our email with the design you chose. We give your order a number (for example RP-0001).
- We send a PayPal invoice in US dollars with that order number. You can pay with a PayPal balance or a card through PayPal's checkout.
- By paying, you confirm that you have reviewed the chosen preview and accept the design as shown.
Prices are those shown on our website when we send the invoice. Any taxes, currency conversion or bank fees charged in your country are your responsibility.
6. Delivery
We email you a zip file, usually within 2 business days after payment ("business days" means Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the Republic of Korea). We send the files both as an email attachment or link and as a download link. Delivery is complete when we send that email to the address you gave us. Please check your spam folder and tell us if you have not received it. If an email bounces or is blocked because the address is wrong or your mailbox is full or filtered, our only obligation is to resend the files.
The delivered files will substantially match the preview you approved. If there is a material difference, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will correct it free of charge. Correction is your remedy for any difference; it does not give a right to a refund.
7. Small edits
Each order includes one round of small edits, requested within 14 days after delivery, such as changing text, phone numbers, opening hours, prices, images or colors. A new design, extra pages or new features are not included. Edits are a courtesy and do not create any right to a refund.
8. Refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable, with one exception: if you have not received your files within 7 days after your payment, we refund the full amount. See our Refund Policy.
If, despite section 2, any law treats you as a consumer, you agree that we begin supplying digital content as soon as you pay, and you acknowledge that you thereby lose any statutory right to withdraw or cancel to the extent that law allows.
9. Your responsibilities
You represent and warrant that you own or are licensed to use your current website and every text, photo, logo and other material on it or that you send us, and that our use of them to create your designs does not infringe anyone's rights. You are solely responsible for:
- All content on your website, including text, photos, logos, menus, prices, opening hours, product information and claims, and for having the rights to use it (including content we took from your current website at your request).
- Checking the delivered files before publishing them.
- Uploading, hosting, security, backups and maintenance of your website.
- Making sure your website complies with all laws that apply to you, including accessibility, privacy, cookie, consumer, advertising, food labeling and industry rules.
- Any change you or others make to the files after delivery.
Some images may be created with AI tools or come from free-license sources, and we use AI tools to help with design and coding. Replacing any image or text before publishing is your decision and responsibility.
10. Ownership
After full payment, we transfer to you all rights we hold in the delivered website files, and you may use, change and publish them without limit. Parts we do not own, such as fonts, code libraries, free-license images and AI-generated elements (which may not be protected by copyright), are provided under their own licenses or as-is, without any exclusivity. We may show the preview and finished design in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
11. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except for the correction promise in section 6, the previews and files are provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, error-free operation, compatibility with your hosting, search engine ranking, or any increase in customers or sales. If a law gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded, they apply only to the minimum extent required, and where allowed our liability is limited to resupplying the files.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill; (b) we are not liable for any loss caused by your content, your website, your hosting or other providers, or by events outside our control; and (c) our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent acts, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend and compensate us for any claim, loss, fine or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your website, your use of the files, or your breach of these terms or of any law, except to the extent the claim is caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
14. Where we can work
We can only serve businesses in countries where PayPal can send and receive payments and where providing the service is legal. We may decline or stop any request at our discretion before payment.
15. Changes, governing law and language
We may update these terms; the version on our website when you pay applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the courts of the Republic of Korea have exclusive jurisdiction. Please email us first if there is a problem. These terms may be shown in other languages for convenience; if versions differ, the English version applies. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
